What are the Trainer Credentials?
Beth Cannon, an international presenter and trainer in fitness and nutrition education for children and childcare providers, has been the owner and program director of Stretch-n-Grow in Greater D/FW since 1999. She is the appointed Chairwoman of the Champion Child Advisory Board, author and developer of the Youth Fitness Instructor Certification Program and the Director of Corporate Training for Stretch-n-Grow International – the world’s leading One-Stop Enrichment Shop for childcare centers across the globe. Beth began teaching fitness classes in 1988 and holds 6 nationally recognized certifications in group fitness training. In addition to her many years in the fitness and health industry, Beth holds a Bachelor’s Degree from the University of Texas at Arlington and is certified by the state of Texas as a classroom teacher. Prior to her career in the private sector, she taught in the Arlington ISD for five years.
Beth is also co-Director of Women’s Ministries at her church. She speaks at women’s conferences and retreats for churches of many different denominations, leads a weekly Bible Study/Work-out Group, and coordinates curriculum for church-wide teaching programs.
